What is the CE.S.A.S.S.?
The acronym "CE.S.A.S.S." is for Study and Assistance Centre for Foreign Students and it is, in fact, the structure responsible for welcoming and assisting foreign students who come and attend Italian language courses at the University for Foreigners.
È The CESASS is an institutional body where students can ask for information, in order to improve their stay in the University and, in general, in the city of Reggio Calabria and in its surroundings.
Cosa fa il CE.S.A.S.S.?
The CE.S.A.S.S. first function is the welcome reserved to international students. Indeed, the latter - on their arrival at the University on the first day of class - attend a Welcome Ceremony.
To make worthwhile and, at the same time, enjoyable the students' stay, The CESASS organizes:
- official cultural and educational trips;
- cultural, social and recreational activities.
At the end of every Italian language course, the CESASS says goodbye to departing international students in a "Farewell Ceremony". Usually, it is a formal event where the University's people in charge greet and thank the students for choosing to come and study in Reggio Calabria.
The CESASS Secretariat is also in charge of:
- Promoters coordination;
- Scholarships;
- Study Awards;
