ITALIAN MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION SCHOLARSHIPS (MAECI)

Brief description:

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation offers every year a certain number of scholarships (Borse di studio del Governo Italiano) for studying in Italy both to foreign citizens and Italian citizens resident abroad.

The scholarships are offered for the Courses of Italian language and culture and the Training/refresher courses for Teachers of Italian language held at the University for Foreigners Dante Alighieri of Reggio Calabria (ITALY).

Host Institution:

The scholarships are offered to carry out study and training in Italian Higher Education Institutes (State-owned institutions or institutions legally recognized by the relevant State authorities)

Some scholarships are in the form of tuition fee waivers only, some only cover living expenses, while some offer a partial cash grant but there are those scholarship programs that cover both tuition fee and living expenses and sometimes include travel costs, book allowance, insurance, etc.
